When AC power supply fails or disconnected from main power, the Main Power indicator     flashes and codepade beeps every minute until the AC power restore. pressing (# AWAY) button stops the codepad beeping.

If other fault occurs Fault indicator    flashes and the codepad beeps every minute.  To find out which system fault occurred you need to enter Fault Analysis mode by holding down the [5] button until two beeps sound. in this mode STAY and AWAY indicators flash simultaneously.

To determine the type of the fault, follow the next steps, otherwise press [# AWAY] to exit Fault Analysis mode.

Please select the number that your zone indicator shows on the display:

 1    2    3    4

 5    6    7    8

If keycode diplay more than one nember in the folowing steps it means that your alarm system has multiple faults and you need to repeat the folowing steps for any individual fault.

If keycode display shows zone indicator 1 press [1] button on the keycode and select the number that shows on the display:

 1    2    3    4

 5    6    7    8

 RF Low Battery

This fault occurs when any of the RF wireless devices report a low battery condition to the control panel. While in Fault Analysis Mode, press the [2] key until two beeps sound. Thisdisplays the zone reporting the RF Low Battery fault.

Zone Tamper Fail

Zone Tamper FailThis fault occurs when any zone with tamper becomes an open or short circuit. Press the [3] key until two beeps sound. This displays the zone reporting the tamper fail fault.

Sensor Watch Fault

A sensor watch fault registers because one or more detection devices failed to detect any movement during the disarmed state for the time period programmed by your installer. The fault clears once the zone in question detects movement and resets. Press the [4] key until two beeps sound. This displays the zone reporting the sensor watch fault.

RF Sensor Missing

An RF sensor missing fault registers because one or more RF detection devices fails to communicate to the RF radio receiver for the time period programmed by your installer. The fault clears once the RF device in question successfully transmits to the RF radio receiver. Press the [5] key until two beeps sound. This displays the RF detection device reporting the RF sensor watch fault.

Communication Fail

To determine which receiver or module failed to communicate, press the [6] key and select the number that shows on the display:

 1    2    3    4

    5    6

Output and Codepad Fail

The output fault registers when the output expander B308 is disconnected or tampered.

The codepad fault registers when any codepad is tampered or disconnected from the control panel.

To determine which fault occurred, press the [7] key.

If keycode display shows zone indicator 7 press [7] button on the keycode and select the number that shows on the display:

 1    2

 3    4    5    6

Keyfob Low Battery

This fault occurs when any of the RF keyfobs report a low battery condition to the control panel. To determine which keyfob failed, press the [8] key. Only keyfob 1 to 16 faults display on the codepad through zone indicator 1 to 16.

If keycode display shows zone indicator after you pressed button 1.

Low Battery Fault

A low battery fault registers when the system detects a low-capacity backup battery. The system automatically performs a battery test every four hours and every time you arm the system. if your alarm system restores after long AC power failure, the battery may charge back to normal by couple of hours. if the failure stays after 24 hours you need to replace the battery backup.

the alarm system uses a sealed lead acid battery 12vAh.

If keycode display shows zone indicator after you pressed button 1.

Date and Time Fault

The date and time fault registers every time the system is powered down. if you get this fault after short period of AC power failure (less than 1-4 hours) you need to replace backup battery.

Setting the Date and Time

Use this function when the date and time must be changed or if the system was powered down.

To set the new date and time:

1. Enter your Master Code and press [6][AWAY]. Three beeps sound and the STAY and AWAY indicators flash.

2. Enter the day, month, year, hour, and minute in DD, MM, YY, HH, MM format (where DD is the day of the month, MM is the month of the year, YY is the year, HH is the hour of the day, and MM is the minute of the day) and press [AWAY]. Use 24:00 hour format when programming the hour of the day. Two beeps sound and the STAY and AWAY indicators are extinguished. If a long beep sounds, an error occurred when you entered the date and time.

Example (in this example the Master code is 2580, you need to use your own master code)

To set the date and time for 1st January 2014 at 10:30 PM, enter: [2 5 8 0 6][AWAY][0 1 0 1 1 4 2 2 3 0][AWAY]

RF Receiver Fail

This fault registers when the RF wireless receiver (Bosch B810 Radion Wireless Receive) failed in operation because of the following problems:

1-This fault registers when the RF wireless receiver unit detects RF jamming.

2- The RF wireless receiver is disconnected from the control panel or failed.

3- The RF receiver cover tamper switch is activated.

If keycode display shows zone indicator after you pressed button 1.

Output 1 to 3 Fail

This fault registers when the system detects output 1 – 3 as warning This fault registers when the system detects output 1 – 3 as warning device (Horn Speaker, Siren Running, Strobe) is disconnected or short. This fault clears once all outputs are reconnected. by default alarm system does not monitoring outputs connections, but if you wish to have reliable alarm system and be sure that you siren, speakers and strobe light going to work whenever the alarm occurs you need to ask your installer to active this feature for you.

output test

The following functions let you confirm that your system outputs are operating correctly:

Hold the [1] key until two beeps sound. The external speaker or siren sounds for 2 sec.

Hold the [2] key until two beeps sound. The Internal Screamer (piezo) l output operates for 2 sec.

Hold the [3] key until three beeps sound. The strobe flashes. Hold the [3] key until two beeps sound. The strobe stops flashing.

Telephone Line Fail.

A telephone line fault registers when the system detects that the telephone line is disconnected from the control panel. Your installer must program the system for this feature to operate.

If keycode display shows zone indicator after you pressed button 1.

Power Supply Fail

This fault occurs when AUX power supplies fails, +12V power fails, or SDI2 Bus power fails. Contact your installer as soon as this fault displays.

Onboard Tamper

This fault occurs when the system detects the control panel is tampered.

If keycode display shows zone indicator any number from 9 to 16 after you pressed button 1.

RF Repeater Fail

The RF repeater 1 to 8 fault registers once the system detects that the wireless repeater is disconnected, tampered or jammed.

Communication Fail Receiver (1, 2, 3 or 4)

A communication fail registers when the control panel fails to communicate with the receiving party (such as a monitoring company, mobile phone). The communication fault clears once the control panel successfully reports to the receiving party.

There are 8 telephone number locations. Numbers 1 and 2 are for receiver 1. Numbers 3 and 4 are for receiver 2. Numbers 5 and 6 are for receiver 3. Numbers 7 and 8 are for receiver 4. installer uses mostly the command that automatically sets Receiver 1 to domestic reporting.

Communication Fail Network Module (5=Module 1, 6= Module 2)

A communication fail also registers when network module is disconnected or tampered.

Output  Fail (1= Expander 1, 2= Expander 2)
